Directions

To Prepare a Herbal Infusion (Tea): Place 1 to 2 teaspoons of dried loose mullein leaf into a tea infuser, bag, or teapot. Pour freshly boiled water (100°C) over the leaves. Cover and allow to steep for 10 to 15 minutes to fully extract the beneficial compounds.

Important Straining Note: Mullein leaves are covered in tiny, fine hairs that can irritate the throat if swallowed. Always strain your tea thoroughly using a very fine mesh strainer, a paper coffee filter, or a tight muslin cloth before drinking. Enjoy on its own, or sweeten with a spoonful of honey.
