Directions

Rehydration: Before using, the TVP mince must be rehydrated. Pour the dry mince into a bowl and cover with boiling water or hot vegetable stock (use roughly a 1:2 ratio of TVP to liquid). Allow it to sit and absorb the liquid for 10–15 minutes until it is completely soft and plumped. Drain away any excess liquid if necessary.

Versatile Culinary Uses:

• Bolognese & Pasta Sauces: Stir the rehydrated mince straight into a bubbling rich tomato and herb sauce, simmering for 10–15 minutes to let the flavors marry.

• Chili non Carne: Sauté with onions, garlic, and chili spices before tossing in kidney beans and chopped tomatoes for a hearty, high-protein chili.

• Shepherd's Pie & Lasagne: Use as the savory filling base layered beneath mashed potato or pasta sheets for comforting, family-favorite bakes.
