Description

Solution Strengths

• Isotonic (Daily Maintenance / Allergies): Dissolve 1 sachet in 240ml of water.

• Hypertonic (Severe Congestion / Sinusitis): Dissolve 2 sachets in 240ml of water.

Preparation & Application

• Water Safety: Always use lukewarm water ($35^\circ\text{C}$ to $40^\circ\text{C}$) that has been previously boiled and allowed to cool, or distilled water. Never use plain tap water.

• Mixing: Fill the irrigation bottle up to the 240ml line, empty the chosen number of sachets into it, and shake well until the powder is fully dissolved.

• Technique:

  1. Lean forward over a sink with your head tilted slightly downward.

  2. Place the nozzle gently against one nostril and breathe calmly through your open mouth.

  3. Smoothly squeeze the base of the bottle. The liquid will flow up into your sinus cavity and drain naturally out of the opposite nostril.

  4. Halfway through the bottle, switch sides and repeat the process through your other nostril.

  5. Gently blow your nose when finished. Wash the bottle and nozzle thoroughly with warm water and leave to air dry.
