Calcium helps to reduce the loss of bone mineral in post-menopausal women. Low bone mineral density is a risk factor for osteoporotic bone fractures. Calcium also contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth.
Magnesium also helps support the maintenance of normal bones and teeth, contributes to normal muscle function, and to a reduction in tiredness & fatigue.
Zinc contributes to normal DNA synthesis, acid-base metabolism, carbohydrate & macronutrient metabolism, and protein synthesis. It also helps the maintenance of normal hair, nails and skin, and contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Just two tablets will provide a full 800mg of Calcium combined with 400mg Magnesium, which is also important in the maintenance of healthy bones. Two tablets will also provide 15mg of Zinc, which is also important in the maintenance of normal bones.
