Directions

Rehydration: Before using, the soya mince must be rehydrated. Place the dry mince into a bowl and cover with boiling water or hot vegetable stock (use roughly a 1:2 ratio of mince to liquid). Allow it to sit and absorb the liquid for 10 minutes until it is completely soft and plumped. Drain away any excess liquid if necessary before adding it to your dish.

Versatile Culinary Uses:

• Bolognese & Lasagne: Stir the rehydrated mince directly into a simmering rich tomato, garlic, and herb sauce, allowing it to cook through for 10–15 minutes to marry the flavors.

• Chili non Carne: Sauté the mince with onions, peppers, and warm Mexican spices before adding kidney beans and chopped tomatoes for a hearty, high-protein meal.

• Shepherd's Pie & Tacos: Use as a savory, protein-packed filling base layered beneath fluffy mashed potato or tucked inside crispy taco shells with fresh salsa.
