Usage & Care Instructions: Engineered for easy daily filling and smooth pouring. Designed strictly for use with municipally treated tap water.

• Filter Disk Preparation: Before using a new MicroDisc filter, rinse both sides thoroughly under cold running tap water for about 30 seconds to clear away any loose carbon dust and prime the filtration layer.

• Assembly & Filling: Remove the top lid. Place the pre-rinsed MicroDisc flat into the filter housing slot and lock the assembly back into the carafe neck. Pour cold tap water directly into the top opening up to the 1.3L max capacity line.

• Pouring & Tracking: Pour water normally into your glass; the integrated lid design opens automatically and filters the water instantly as it streams out. The lid features a built-in smart electronic indicator (Brita Memo) that tracks time; press and hold the start button down until 4 bars appear to monitor the life of your filter.

• Filter Replacement: To maintain crisp water quality, change the MicroDisc filter every 4 weeks or after approximately 150 liters of water use.

• Cleaning Maintenance: Always remove the MicroDisc filter and the electronic lid device before washing. The main carafe body and plastic filter housing parts are entirely dishwasher safe (up to 50°C). Alternatively, wash by hand using a soft sponge and mild dish soap.
