Brita Water Filter Bottle
Directions
Usage & Care Instructions: Simple to assemble and designed for immediate daily hydration. Recommended exclusively for use with municipally treated tap water.
-
First-Time Filter Preparation: Before installing a new MicroDisc filter, place it under running tap water or submerge it in a glass of warm water for approximately 1 minute to remove any loose carbon dust and ensure optimal water flow.
-
Assembly & Filling: Unscrew the top lid assembly. Insert the prepared MicroDisc into the designated filter housing slot under the mouthpiece and close the housing ring firmly. Fill the main bottle body with cold tap water up to the max fill line, then screw the lid back on securely.
-
Drinking & Maintenance: Open the flip-top cap and sip comfortably through the mouthpiece—the water filters instantly as you drink. For optimal filtration performance and hygiene, replace the MicroDisc filter every 4 weeks or after filtering roughly 150 liters of water.
-
Cleaning Instructions: Remove the MicroDisc filter before washing. The main bottle body, cap assembly, and mouthpiece are 100% dishwasher safe (top rack only, up to 50°C). Alternatively, wash by hand using warm water, a mild dish soap, and a soft sponge. Do not use abrasive scouring pads.
Caution: Not intended to purify contaminated water or water from untreated natural sources. Do not fill the bottle with hot water, carbonated beverages, or flavored liquids, as this will destroy the filter matrix.
