Green-lipped mussel is a dietary supplement extracted from a type of mussel native to New Zealand. It’s also known as New Zealand mussel and green shell mussel (perna canaliculus). Extracts from perna canaliculuscontain omega-3 fatty acids, amino acids, minerals and carbohydrates.
